About Jon and Olwynne
Olwynne Cade and Jon Rinckes joined forces over five years ago after meeting some time earlier through their work in the Funeral Industry. Subsequent dynamics have led them to explore a relationship as husband and wife and business partners.
From this position, they bring together their personal and professional skills, creating forums and opportunities to further knowledge and awareness of life and death:
In 2008 they began publising Soul Quisine holistic newspaper which is published every five weeks and is distributed to outlets throughout New Zealand.
Olwynne is the Publisher/Editor of Soul Quisine, has a Diploma of Lifecoaching and works as a Funeral Celebrant. Olwynne was a theatrical Producer/Director/Writer/Choreographer/Actor for 26 years having founded her own production company in that time and produced many works for the benefit of her local community.
Jon is the Publisher/Sub Editor/ of Soul Quisine. He had a 27 year career as a full time Funeral Director and was Operations Manager of a large Christchurch funeral company until 2006 when he decided to make a life change and moved into another aspect of his many years of training as a contract embalmer.
