Soul Quisine has ceased publication.
Recently Soul Quisine went from a free publication to one that was chargeable ($2-50). This came about as Olwynne and myself were no longer able to continue subsidising it in it’s free form; 9500 copies per issue. All we asked is for the readers to help support the cost of producing the paper by paying that small cover price – less than a coffee for 16 pages of inspirational fodder that would enrich your life.
Since the introduction of the cover charge, demand for Soul Quisine has plummeted; the obvious conclusion being that readers were not prepared to pay for it. So, after much thought and consideration and a thorough look at the whole business, we have decided to cease publication of Soul Quisine for now. There are other avenues Olwynne and I wish to explore and the time seems right to do that now.
To those of you who have supported the paper through advertising, subscriptions, distribution, contributing articles and donations, a big heartfelt thankyou from myself and Olwynne.
To the spiritual/holistic community, thankyou for the support you have given. It has been a wonderful journey; we have learnt much and met many.
